A 77-year-old US veteran and his wife returned diary of a Vietnamese martyr after 56 years of keeping it.

Vietnamese Party and State leaders on July 26 laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son road in Hanoi to commemorate heroes and martyrs on the 75th anniversary of War Invalid and Martyrs Day (July 27).

Two roads and a new street in Ha Giang City will be named after the three martyrs who died in the battle to protect the Vi Xuyen border.
