A recent career orientation workshop is held to support Vietnamese students in the US in finding their dream jobs.

Association of Vietnamese Students and Professionals in the United States (AVSPUS), in collaboration with Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Texas, shall co-organize the series of events named "The 9th America's Arms" (Vong tay nuoc My) in December in Dallas, Texas (USA). It is known as the year-end meeting for Vietnamese youth and students in the US.

After receiving a full scholarship worth VND 6 billion (US$ 259,000) to study at a university in the US, Nguyen Hoang Ngan passed interviews to become an intern at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The US administration’s new visa policy for international students may affect about 24.000 Vietnamese students who are attending universities or participate in training programs, as well as non-academic or vocational studies in the US. However, Vietnamese Embassy in the US said it will try to protect Vietnamese students’ legitimate interests.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Ha Kim Ngoc has affirmed that supporting Vietnamese students is the top priority in its citizen protection efforts amid the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic in the host country.
