The 10th Vietnam - Japan Festival in Ho Chi Minh City 2025, themed “Joining Hands – Towards the Future” officially opened on March 8. The festival marks the beginning of a series of cultural, sports, trade, and tourism events, deeply imbued with national cultural identity, contributing to strengthening the profound friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

The Vietnam Festival 2024 in Osaka was organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in collaboration with provincial governments and Vietnamese associations in the Kansai region over two days from April 27 to April 28. This is the second time this event has been held in Osaka Prefecture, following the success of the first in 2023, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.

For the past few years, Yosakoi has widely developed in Vietnam. The Vietnamese Yosakoi teams also have their own dances with both Vietnamese traditional and modern music featuring Vietnamese culture.

Such festival introduces the beauty of the culture, land, and people of Japan to locals and visitors, thus contributing to the strengthening of cultural exchange between the two countries, and bilateral friendship.

The event will feature calligraphy demonstration, food courts, and Vietnam-Japan martial arts performances.
