From May 6 to 8, 2025, the United Nations Day of Vesak will be held in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme “Solidarity and Tolerance for Human Dignity: Buddhist Wisdom for World Peace and Sustainable Development.”

At Tran Quoc Pagoda (Tay Ho District), the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Vietnam-India Friendship Association in Hanoi, and the Indian Embassy on May 25 held Vesak 2023.

This year Vesak celebration in Vietnam will be held and broadcasted live April 30 – May 7 on Facebook, Youtube, Butta, Phatsuonline, and An Vien TV to avoid mass crowding during COVID-19 pandemic.
