Vietnam Hails Role of APCCA Conference

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam attaches great importance and appreciates the role of the 41st Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators (APCCA 41). This is a conference with more than 40 years of formation and development, making an important contribution to improving international cooperation in prison management, education and rehabilitation.

UNODC assists Vietnam with prison management

With the approval of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Department for Foreign Relations in coordination with the Police Department of Management of Prison, Compulsory Re-education Center and Reformatory, the Police Department of Custody, Temporary Detention and Criminal Judgment Execution, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) held an online training workshop on prison management in HCM City from December 22-24.
