The Steering Committee for External Information Affairs, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and the Vietnam Television held the Launching Ceremony of the 10th National External Information Service Awards on March 28th, in Hanoi.

At the 8th National External Information Service Awards Ceremony, contenders from Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) received many prestigious prizes, for introducing the image of Vietnam to the world and prospering people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and foreign countries.

Karel Sys, President of the Czech Writers' Association, has received a consolation prize at the 7th National External Information Service Awards.

The distinguished award is for promoting Vietnam's image, culture, history, and people.
