Attending the fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament (WCSP5) in Austria, National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue thanked the UN for its timely and effective support and advice to Vietnam’s national building and development.

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee introduced Vuong Dinh Hue, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, to run for the new chairperson of the NA during the ongoing NA session held on March 30. He took the oath of absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the People, and the Constitution on the morning of March 31, as he was sworn into office as Chairman of the 14th National Assembly (NA).
