Raffaele Cattaneo, deputy minister in charge of international relations of Italy's Lombardia region, has called Vietnam a “diamond” of Asia and an attractive destination for Lombardia enterprises.

More and more Italian textile firms are investing in Vietnam to take advantage of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and export to the European market, said experts.
