A requiem was held in Hanoi for victims and Vietnamese and foreign soldiers who died while protecting the country during a U.S. airstrike in December 1972 along with deceased victims of Covid-19.

The Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO) in coordination with Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Hanoi's Culture Center and Hanoi Peace Committee organized the children’s drawing contest named “I love Hanoi - City for Peace” to commemorate 1,010 years of Thang Long-Hanoi and to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day.
