Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports in 2023 are estimated to reach USD 5.6 billion, a new record in this industry ever, an increase of 80% over the same period in 2022.

Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable exports have enjoyed positive growth in several major markets during the opening five months of the year, including the United States, Japan, Russia, and Australia, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Vietnam raked in a sum of $1.35 billion from exporting fruit and vegetables during the past four months of the year, thereby representing an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period from last year, according to details given by the Agro Processing and Market Development Authority.
