Delegations from the northern border province of Dien Bien and Laos’ Phongsaly province on November 29 conducted a bilateral survey and talks on the construction of a border guard house and the expansion of a border patrol road at the Vietnamese side’s Vietnam—Laos—China border intersection point.

On March 13, leaders of Dien Bien province met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to Vietnam Jaime Francisco Rodríguez to strengthen cooperation on both sides.

At the meeting between the delegation of Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) and the leaders of Dien Bien province on March 2, the two sides agreed to continue regular contact and information exchange to improve the provincial people-to-people diplomacy work in the future.
