On September 18 in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Do Hung Viet met with eight ambassadors and chargé d'affaires from embassies in Hanoi and eight non-resident ambassadors from African countries.

Ambassador Pham Vinh Quang said that over the past 50 years, Vietnam-Canada relations have been successful yet there is still much potential for collaboration.
