Vietnam handed over its chairmanship role at the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) to Indonesia at an online meeting held on January 20.

Vietnam will support and work closely with Brunei as Chair of ASEAN in 2021 so as to successfully accomplish set targets and initiatives, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said when holding phone talks with Brunei Minister of Foreign Affairs II Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof on January 19.

The closing ceremony of the 37th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits took place on November 15 afternoon via teleconference.

Not only will this be a chance for Vietnam to promote the equipment it has manufactured, military aircraft will carry out flight demonstrations for the first time ever at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2020.
