Vietnam’s Vice Minister of Transport (MoT) Le Anh Tuan and First Secretary/Deputy Head of Development Cooperation at the German Embassy in Hanoi, Helene Paust, recently co-chaired a kick-off meeting for a project that aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the transport sector.

With the average AQI index of 269, Hanoi is among the top 3 most polluted cities in the world and this situation is predicted to take place in the next few days.

With business and manufacturing activities coming to a halt, transportation reducing by half due to COVID-19, the capital  Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Metropolis– two biggest and most crucial cities in Vietnam – are enjoying a much more purified air.
