Aiming to become a cultural gathering corner for people who are in love with the country, people and the cuisines of Vietnam, “Pho 101” restaurant, the first Vietnamese restaurant in Dhaka, began to welcome its first customers on October 19. The restaurant immediately caught the attention of diners living in the city.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Tran Van Khoa highlighted the positive impact of the “Vietnamese Cultural Week” festival in Dhaka, hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in March 2018, which has brought the exotic taste of Vietnamese cuisines to more and more Bangladesh people. Introducing Vietnamese cuisines is part of the festival, in which Vietnamese professional chefs with years of experience had provided live demonstrations to delight and amaze the guests.
On this occasion, the ambassador expressed his wish that Pho 101 will become a familiar name to Vietnamese food fans in Dhaka./.
