To promote Vietnamese culture to the local population and the international community in Colombo and raise charity funds, the Embassy of Vietnam to Sri Lanka participated in the International Christmas Charity Bazaar (ICCB) 2024. The Bazaar, held at the Galle Face Hotel on November 24, featured the participation of about 30 countries and numerous charitable organizations. This annual event draws significant attention due to the diverse cultures represented.
The Embassy of Vietnam in Sri Lanka has been a part of this meaningful event for several years. At this year’s Bazaar, the Embassy showcased and promoted handicraft products, coffee, instant noodles, pho, dried fruits, and nuts such as jackfruit, longan, and lotus seeds.
The Embassy’s booth attracted considerable interest from local people, the Diplomatic Corps, and international tourists in Sri Lanka. It served as a hub for exchange, meeting, and connection between Embassy members, the Vietnamese community, and other countries in Colombo.
The Fair Organizing Committee highly appreciated the Vietnamese booth's positive and meaningful contributions. The Colombo Times published an article highlighting the Embassy's participation in this event.
