Vietnam welcomes efforts for peace and stability on Korean peninsula
Vietnam welcomes the upcoming inter-Korean summit which aims to promote dialogue and maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

The statement was made by Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang at a regular press brief on April 19th in response to reporters’ questions regarding the upcoming inter-Korean summit.
“Vietnam welcomes the organisation of the summit scheduled for April 27th between the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in order to promote dialogue, and maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.”
About Vietnam’s response to the fact that U.S. President Donald Trump is considering the U.S.’s participation in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the spokesperson said the CPTPP is an open deal to which economies could join after it takes into force on the basis of accepting its high standards and consensus among member states./.
