On April 24, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense held a conference to review the 9th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange. Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense chaired the conference.

On the morning of April 22, the third Friendship Exchange Program between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), along with representatives from border provinces and autonomous regions of both countries, officially opened in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, under the theme “Joining hands to promote friendship.”
